Privacy Policy

OPPTIC Sales Method (“OPPTIC Sales Method,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit www.oppticsales.com (the “Site”) or use the OPPTIC Sales Method Time Audit tool (the “App”), how we use it, with whom we share it, and the choices you have. By using the Site or the App, you agree to the practices described herein.

Who we are

OPPTIC Sales Method is a sales training, coaching, and consulting business founded by Morgan Lim and based in the San Francisco Bay Area, California, United States. We provide a time-based sales operating system that includes workshops, Training-as-a-Service, advisory engagements, and a free version and a paid subscription for the Time Audit tool.

Information we collect

Information you provide to us

We collect information you choose to give us directly, which includes:

  • Contact form details. When you submit the contact form on the Site, we collect your first name, last name, email address, and — if you provide them — your phone number and the contents of your message.

  • Correspondence. If you email or call us, we keep a record of that communication and any information you include.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, certain information is collected automatically by our website platform, Wix, and the analytics tools it provides. This may include your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, the pages you view, the links you click, and the dates and times of your visits. This information helps us understand how the Site is used and keep it working properly.

The Time Audit App

Your audit data stays on your device. The free Time Audit tool runs in your browser and stores the hours and answers you enter locally on your own device. It does not require an account, and the time-allocation data you enter is not transmitted to or stored by OPPTIC Sales Method. If you clear your browser storage, that data is removed from your device.

When we release a paid version of the App in the future that requires an account or processes data on our servers, we will provide additional or updated privacy terms covering that version at that time.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and provide the information, services, or follow-up you request.

  • Deliver and improve our workshops, coaching, consulting, and the Site and App.

  • Communicate with you about your engagement with us, including scheduling and administration.

  • Understand how the Site is used to improve its content and performance.

  • Protect the security and integrity of the Site, and detect or prevent fraud or misuse.

  • Comply with our legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you.

Cookies and analytics

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies, primarily through our website platform, Wix. These are used to operate the Site, remember your preferences, and gather aggregate analytics about Site usage. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; note that some parts of the Site may not function as intended if cookies are disabled. For details on how our platform uses cookies, see  the Wix Cookie Policy.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers. We use trusted third parties to operate our business — for example, our website host and platform (Wix) and our email and communication tools. These providers process information on our behalf and only as needed to provide their services to us.

  • Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

  • Business transfers. If OPPTIC Sales Method is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.

Third-party links

The Site links to third-party properties we maintain or reference, including LinkedIn, Medium, and the Time Audit tool hosted on Netlify. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any external site you visit.

Data retention

We keep the information you provide for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, provide our services, and meet our legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete it or de-identify it.

Data security

We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we hold against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your privacy rights

California residents

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA/CPRA”), gives you the right to:

  • Request access to the specific pieces of personal information we have collected.

  • Request that we correct inaccurate personal information.

  • Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will verify your request before acting on it and will respond within the timeframe required by law.
